BOSAR Meeting March 1st 2014

BOASAR (Board of Advanced studies and Research) meeting was held on 1st March, 2014 at Qurtuba University Peshawar Campus in which the board members approved / modified / rejected the synopsis of various MS/M.Phil/Ph.D scholars.

Mehfil-e-Mushaira was conducted at Qurtuba University Peshawar Campus on Feb 28th, 2014 in which the poet “Anwar Maqsood” and other renowned poets enthralled the students and other participants with their exquisite verses. The gathering was enjoyed by the students and the poets alike. The university intends to flourish this culture in future as well.

Seminar Titled "Grounded Theory a Qualitative Research Method" by Dr. Shakir Ullah held on 20th February 2014 at Peshawar campus.

The resource Person attracted the interest of the audience towards the qualitative side of the research and specifically highlighted the grounded theory as a research method. The audience shown a great interest in the topic and appreciated the efforts of Qurtuba University in this regard.

The seminar ended with a vote of thanks by the administration to the resource person.

QU promoted to ‘W3’ Category by HEC

Qurtuba University of Science & IT has been awarded ‘W3’ Category by the Higher Education Commission  in the new ranking system and has placed Qurtuba University in the top ranked universities of the country, which is a recognition of the efforts made by the University to provide quality education to its students.
