Qurtuba University Convocation Ceremony: Special guest Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, awarded gold medals to 39 students who achieved top positions. A total of 295 students were awarded degrees. Speaking at the convocation of Qurtuba University in Peshawar, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi praised the university's scientific and research contributions. The governor congratulated the students receiving gold medals and degrees, as well as their parents and teachers. He highlighted the commendable contributions of private universities alongside public sector institutions in the province. He urged students to take a keen interest in the field of information technology, emphasizing the importance of knowledge in artificial intelligence in today's era. During the convocation, degrees were awarded to 295 students who graduated between the sessions of 2017 and 2023. Among them, 39 students received gold medals, 30 received PhDs, 70 received MPhils, 55 received MAs or MScs, and 140 students received BS degrees. In his opening address, University President Dr. Abdul Hafeez Khan Niazi congratulated the graduating students and their parents. Discussing the university's scientific and research achievements, President Dr. Abdul Hafeez Khan Niazi revealed that in 2023, the university published 238 research articles in national and international research journals. He assured that Qurtuba University will continue to play its role in shaping the future of the province and the country. The ceremony was also attended by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Hamidullah Khan Alizai, Chairman of Qurtuba Education System Dr. Azhar Khan Niazi, and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Saif ul Islam.
