Plantation campaign 2023 launched at Qurtuba University Peshawar. A relief collection point has also been established in the university to help the earthquake victims of Türkiye and Syria. Chairman, Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Fazal Qadir along with his team visited Qurtuba University Peshawar and started the plantation campaign of 2023 (HERA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) by planting saplings. Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Saiful Islam and Faculty Deans welcomed the Chairman (HERA) and his team. On this occasion, a large number of administrative staff, professors and students were present. As part of this tree planting campaign of (HERA), 20,000 saplings will be planted in all universities and educational institutions across the province, which has been started from Qurtuba University. Hereafter, Chairman (HERA) Fazal Qadir and Pro VC, Dr. Saiful Islam also inaugurated the relief collection point to help the earthquake victims of Türkiye and Syria as per the orders of Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Later, Dr. Saiful Islam awarded honorary shields of the university to Chairman (HERA) Fazal Qadir and his team.
