Qurtuba University of Science & Information Technology, Peshawar has taken another important step towards strengthening practical and professional learning opportunities for its Pharmacy students by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pharmacy Department of Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), Peshawar. Under this collaboration, students of the Department of Pharmacy, Qurtuba University will have opportunities for Clinical Pharmacy Clerkship and hands on practical training at the Pharmacy Department of Lady Reading Hospital. The initiative reflects Qurtuba University's commitment to bridging the gap between classroom learning and professional clinical practice. Through this collaboration, students will gain valuable exposure to a real hospital environment, enhance their clinical pharmacy skills, and develop the professional competencies required to serve as skilled and responsible pharmacists. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Saif-ul-Islam, Registrar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mansoor, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saeed, and Assistant Professor/Coordinator, Department of Pharmacy, Dr. Najib Ullah from Qurtuba University. Representing Lady Reading Hospital were Hospital Director Muhammad Tariq Khan Berki and Pharmacy Manager Dr. Azizullah Khan. The collaboration also marks the beginning of a broader partnership, with both institutions expressing their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in academic, research, clinical training, and professional development.
